Gina Viscusi Elson
Gina Viscusi Elson has been designing and overseeing the construction of elegant and distinguished homes since she graduated with a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design from the San Francisco Academy of Art in 1992.
In 1995, Gina Viscusi Elson started Viscusi Elson Interior Design. Her main office was based in Napa California before moving to Los Altos, to be more centrally located to serve Gina's clientele.
Her eye for fine details and her extensive knowledge in interior architecture and the building process have made her a popular choice amongst homeowners, architects & builders.
Known in the industry for her design excellence, her firm has won numerous awards from ASID, NKBA and NARI.
"Celebrating Life" is at the essence of her design work. She creates interiors that allow clients to live the way they want to live, in environments designed for their needs and dreams.
Danielle Holdt
Lead Designer
CKBD
A life-long artist, designer, student, and traveler, Danielle's passion for art and design is undeniable. She earned her degrees in Interior Design and Fine Arts from West Valley College and San Jose State University.
"Design is in the details. In my designs, I focus on creating environments that are unique to the client and express their style. Inspiration comes to me from many places: my trips to Europe, history of art and interiors, enjoying precious moments and celebrating life with family and friends."
20 years of retail experience have definitely contributed to Danielle’s excellent communication and customer service skills. She is known for having a great rapport with clients, contractors and the design team. Her talents make her a valuable asset to when it comes to renderings, color consultations, space planning and designing dream kitchens.
In her spare time, Danielle likes to paint, design jewelry, create wheel thrown pottery, and mentor design students. She believes: "Every day is an opportunity to learn something new about art, design and life in general."
Amy Candler
Amy recently joined Viscusi Elson Interior Design as a Junior Designer after graduating from San Francisco State University in May 2025 with a Bachleors Degree in Interior Design and Architecture. Shortly after graduation, Amy successfully passed the IDEX California Exam and is currently on the path to becoming a Certified Interior Designer in the state of California.
Amy also manages the Instagram accounts for Viscusi Elson and Papillon Kitchen & Bath. She uses social media as a creative source of inspiration. Amy creates content that showcases our thoughtul designs and invites others to experience design through her lens!
She is driven by a passion for thoughtful, functional spaces and a strong enthusiam for learning, collaboration, and growth within the design field.

Sasha Shetrakova
Sasha joined the team in summer 2024 starting out as an intern and has since grown into being a design assistant. She also just recently completed her Associates Degree at Cañada College in Interior Design. She specializes in creating timeless cabinetry designs. With an outstanding eye for art and detail, she brings a thoughtful approach to every design she supports.
Sasha’s positive attitude and collaborative spirit makes her a valued member of the team, contributing both creative insight and uplifting energy to the showroom.

This little pupparoo is the office cheerleader. As designer dog her duties are ton of happy suggles, daily naps in high-end textiles and walks to the pet store. Most importantly she is the sunshine of the office. Woof
